Refund policy
Every IMP piece is cut and hand-stitched to order in Granada. This policy explains when a piece can be returned, and what happens if something is wrong with it.
Ready-made pieces — 14 days
If you bought a piece from the ready-made line, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Tell us at imp.dzgn@gmail.com within that window, then send the piece back within 14 days of telling us.
The piece must come back unused and in the condition you received it, with any dust bag and packaging. Return shipping is at your own cost unless the piece was faulty or we sent the wrong item. Once it arrives and we have checked it, we refund the full purchase price including standard outbound shipping, within 14 days, to the payment method you used.
Made-to-measure and bespoke — not returnable
Pieces made to your own measurements or specification — corsets, commissions and any customised order — are exempt from the right of withdrawal under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, article 16c), because they cannot be resold to anyone else. Before work begins we confirm materials, dimensions and price with you in writing, and nothing is cut until you approve it.
This does not affect your rights if the piece arrives faulty or does not match what we agreed.
If something is wrong
Leather is a natural material and each hide carries its own grain and marks; small variations between your piece and the photographs are part of the work, not a defect.
If a piece is genuinely faulty or not as described, Spanish consumer law gives you three years from delivery to raise it (Real Decreto-ley 7/2021). Write to us with photographs and we will repair it, replace it, or refund you.
Repairs
Outside of any guarantee, we would still rather repair a piece than see it replaced. Send us a photograph of the damage and we will quote for the work — stitching and edge repairs are usually straightforward, whatever the age of the piece.
