Terms of service

These terms cover purchases made through this store. IMP is the leather atelier of Volodymyr Chertkov, based in Granada, Spain. Placing an order means you accept them.

The pieces

Everything sold here is designed, cut and hand-stitched by one maker. Leather is a natural material: grain, colour and markings vary from hide to hide, and each piece is finished by hand, so no two are identical. Photographs show the character of the work rather than the exact piece you will receive.

Orders and prices

Prices are shown in euros and include Spanish VAT where it applies. Placing an order is an offer to buy; the contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. If a piece is listed at a clearly incorrect price, or we cannot source the leather or hardware for it, we may decline the order and refund you in full.

Pieces listed as "On request" are quoted individually — nothing is charged until you have agreed a written quote.

Commissions

For bespoke work we confirm design, materials, dimensions, price and timeline in writing before starting. Once you approve it and cutting begins, the commission cannot be cancelled, because the piece is made to your specification alone. Substantial changes requested after approval may affect the price and the timeline.

Care

These pieces are made to be used and repaired rather than replaced. Keep leather away from prolonged wet and direct heat, and condition it occasionally. Damage from neglect, accidents or ordinary wear is not a fault, though we are glad to quote for repair.

Intellectual property

The designs, photographs, text and the IMP mark on this site belong to Volodymyr Chertkov and may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission.

Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Nothing here limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts in Spain, and EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
