IMP works in clean geometry — sharp edges, precise volumes, nothing superfluous. Each design is reduced to its essential lines, then built in full-grain leather so it holds that architecture for decades.
Every piece is cut and saddle-stitched by hand, one at a time, in a one-man atelier in Granada. Luxury here is precision and material, not ornament or logo.

A one-man atelier, thirteen years in the making
IMP is the workshop of Volodymyr Chertkov, a Ukrainian leatherworker based in Granada. Every piece — from the ready-made line to one-off bespoke commissions — is designed, cut and hand-stitched by him alone. No factories, no subcontracting.
His path began with an inheritance: a wallet his mother had made for his grandfather, carrying the very initials Volodymyr bears himself. It served twenty-five years of daily use before its stitches finally gave. Searching for a leather cord to repair it, he wandered into a tannery — and never really left. He has worked leather since 2013.
Quiet luxury, to us, means the opposite of loud logos: full-grain leather, honest hand-work, and objects made to be repaired rather than replaced.

A full leather programme for a Kyiv wine bar — the consumer-information corner mounted on the brick, and the check presenters the bill arrives in.

A private restoration project: the original wheel of a classic VAZ re-wrapped by hand in leather, set with brass rivets true to the era.

Cylindrical leather planters built to dress the olive trees at Alaska restaurant — reinforced corners, saddle-stitched, in a hide left to patina under the dining room light.
Alaska Check Presenters
Matching bill folders for Alaska’s dining room, stitched in the same burgundy hide as the rest of the leather programme and stamped with the restaurant’s name.
Hard Drive & Power Bank Cases
Made-to-measure olive leather cases for a portable WD drive and a power bank — a snap-stud flap and pull-tab on one, a port window on the other so the device charges in place. Saddle-stitched in cream linen thread and embossed with the IMP mark.
The Sommelier’s Holdall
Made for a sommelier colleague around a single brief: one bag that swallows a full 12-bottle wine case. A large hand-stitched holdall in dark full-grain leather — flat reinforced base, buckle-strap closure and a zip-top mouth — sized to the case, then built to outlast it. Personalised inside for its owner.
